9 days & it's IMSA/FIA WEC Lone Star Le Mans race day!  Current weather forecast is showing a 30% chance of rain, but we all know that can change in a matter of minutes.

The teams should start arriving at Circuit of the Americas sometime early next week.  IMSA has a total of 44 registered entries for Saturday's 2hr 40min race.  They're broken down into 4 classes...Prototype (8), Prototype Challenge (9), GT Le Mans (10) and GT Daytona (17).  

FIA WEC's 6hrs of Circuit of the Americas will have a grid comprised of 4 separate classes also,  LMP1 (8), LMP2 (10), LMGTE PRO (7), and finally LMGTE AM (6) for a total of 31 machines battling for not only 1st place in their class, but also 1st place overall.  Green flag drops at 5pm with checkered 6hrs later at 11pm.
