The week has been long & hot.  Local meteorologists claimed we'd see rain & once again, THEY LIED!!!  No big deal.  The weather system that passed through did provide some nice cloud cover to keep temperatures somewhat bearable & also acted as a dynamic backdrop for photos taken today.

Friday is the last day before IMSA & FIA WEC teams go all out for victory during each of their races on Saturday.  The 2 organizations will have 1 last practice session scheduled during the AM hours of September 16th.  IMSA from 910am-1010am, followed by FIA WEC at 1030am-1130am.  The next time these machines get on a hot track will be for qualifying.  I wonder if anyone has been sand bagging the past couple of days.  Sometimes that strategy gives your opponents false confidence which could lead to them not putting 100% effort into their setup during practice.  Wait, who I am kidding?!  This is fierce competition!  There's no sandbagging out there!

I return to Circuit of the Americas bright & early tomorrow morning.  Are you joining me?
