The RealTime Racing Acura NSX GT3 is manufactured in Ohio alongside the production NSX vehicles. It has a steel roll cage, carbon driver's seat shell & an on-board fire safety system. Using the same engine specs as the production NSX, the GT3 has a 3.5L, 75-degree, twin turbo DOHC V-6 mated to a 6-speed sequential, paddle shifted transmission & rear-wheel drive.
The white & blue livery with orange accents make this car really enjoyable to look at, especially at speed!
What are your thoughts? Have you become a fan of the new generation NSX? Or are you old school & prefer the 90s version better?

It's official! Audi Sport has discontinued it's Le Mans LMP1 program. Rumors had been floating around for a while & were finally confirmed. The championship winning Audi group will be moving away from their Le Mans endurance series & focusing their efforts to the electric car racing genre, Formula E.
It will be very different not seeing the Audi R18 fight for the win. That machine is & has been incredible since it's inception. I remember going to the ALMS race weekend at Circuit of the Americas in 2013. When that Audi flew by, it sounded like a space ship. Nearly silent on it's approach with an electric whine as it passed. It was almost like you could hear the car being sucked to the ground thanks to the massive down force provided by front & rear wings.
You will be missed Audi Sport! Good luck with your next venture in motorsports!
With the racing season just around the corner, let's see what's scheduled at Circuit of the Americas for 2017.

The annual Corvette Invasion will be returning to Circuit of the Americas & I imagine it will take place the same time as last year, sometime in July. This event has grown tremendously since it's inception. If you own a Corvette or have a love for them, you definitely need to check it out.
The Hankook 24H Series has a scheduled event at COTA for 2017. Although exact date details are not yet available, I did read an article recently that mentioned November race date.
Check out the Toyota GAZOO Racing TS-050 LMP1 putting in laps during FIA WEC 6hCOTA weekend at Circuit of the Americas 2016. I'm a huge fan of symmetry in my photography. Obviously, not every photograph can be done this way, but when it works, I certainly give it a shot (no pun intended).
This image was taken with a Canon 7D Mark II + Optaka 6.5mm f3.5 fisheye (10mm full frame eqvuivalent) at a 1/125sec. This shutter speed froze the foreground & background while allowing just a bit of motion blur as the Toyota LMP1 machine flew by, making its way through the chicane at COTA.

This weekend couldn't have been better. The weather was clear & warm, the spectators came out in full force, and the F1 drivers had only 1 goal...WIN!
Congratulations to Lewis Hamilton for outperforming the pack once again at Circuit of the Americas. He now holds 4 out of 5 USGP wins since the F1 track in Austin opened back in 2012. With his win today, Hamilton brought himself that much closer to the points lead which is currently held by his teammate, Nico Rosberg.
3 races to go for the 2016 season, do you think Lewis Hamilton can close the gap & take the championship? Comment below!
If you attended the 2015 F1 USGP at Circuit of the Americas, then you know 1st hand how bad Mother Nature put it on us. It was damn near a hurricane! The track flooded at times, the teams played around in the pit area, & fans weren't at all happy with the parking accommodations...well, mud pits actually.
But this year it's MUCH better! The weather has been fantastic so far & I don't see it changing one bit. Clear skies, warm air with a cooling breeze at times...yep, I'm not sure it could get any better.
Lewis Hamilton not only took pole position during qualifying today, but he also set a new track lap record. Will No 44 ever lose his spot as the COTA King?
Are you making your way to COTA tomorrow for the 2016 F1 USGP? Where are you sitting to watch the racing?
Made my way to Circuit of the Americas for the 2016 F1 USGP. The weather is amazing & the fans have showed up to enjoy it. Do you remember last year this time? I don't recall cars taking the track for more than 20min at a time. Thank Mother Nature for that. This year it's clear skies & warm air, perfect for racing.
F1 USGP Qualifying begins in a few minutes.
Came across something while out today...what do you think?
A little over 8 days from now the superstars of F1 return to Circuit of the Americas for the United States Grand Prix! As usual, music performances will keep crowds entertained even after race action has ended.
Taylor Swift hits the Super Stage Saturday night after the autograph sessions close.
The Weeknd was originally slotted to perform after the race, but he canceled to work on his upcoming album..So who replaces him?
USHER & THE ROOTS! They'll give the fans something to dance & sing too after the big race & fan track invasion.
How do you feel about that change up? Were you hoping to catch The Weeknd? Does Usher & The Roots interest you enough to stick around & fight traffic afterwards? Leave a comment below
